Bárbara is a recognized leader in the fintech and entrepreneurship landscape in the region. As CFO and Mexico CEO at Bitso, she was instrumental in democratizing financial services in Latin America, raising over half a billion USD in capital and expanding the customer base to over 8 million users. Earlier, Bárbara was an investment banker at Lazard’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice. She actively advocates for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Latin American startup ecosystem. Bárbara holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
